Safety in any facility is the concern of everyone, from labour, management right up to the government level. Employees, that have a safe work practices, are key to keeping injuries and lost time down by seeing and correcting issues that might cause and accident.
As skilled trade we are always in the line of fire so to speak. We are exposed to may hazards that we can and can’t see. This is why being familiar, and up to date with the Workers Compensation Board (WCB) regulations is necessary. By following the rules and guide lines, for the job or task at hand personnel can be kept safe and out of harm.
